1-1/2 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 pinch salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1 cups white sugar
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup butter
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1. In large bowl combine oats, vanilla and salt. Stir in pecans.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter and cocoa. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat, stir in oats.
3. Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let cool.
